I'm sorry but this is the dumbest thing I've ever seen - I can't even believe someone would attempt to write down "Tongues," let alone brand and market it. I seem to remember Paul saying something about not speaking in tongues around non-believers as it has no merit for them - but I guess putting it on a "designer" shirt is cool? This is well deserving of a "You've gotta be kidding me" post!

But if you want to buy one, check their site out - HolyGhostTees.com

Stuff like this makes me embarrassed to be Pentecostal. Please note that we are not all stupid.

Noted Kraig - and this wasn't a slam on Pentecostalism but the business idea behind such a shirt. I've got you back.

I’d be interesting in hearing the “interpretation” of the utterance, anyone?

I'm sorry, but speaking in tongues has always scared me.

Bob - lol - I think the interpretation is on the back of the shirt, but I couldn't find a photo of the back.

Ryan - definitely one of the harder to understand portions of the New Testament, along side virgin birth and being raised from the dead.

I have always preferred the yu-ti-mi-a-bo-ti...

I couldnt find it on there, it seemed appropriate in for a shirt.

I actually bumped into this in my Pentecostal foundations class. Professor showed it to us. Heres to going to a semi liberal Institution..

Kevin- would any CBC professor showed this in a classroom setting?

Its flippin amazing what people will try to make money out of!
It makes me think of Jesus's outrage at the money changers in the temple courts.
The whole concept of using Kingdom things to make money is fraught with danger in my opinion.

Ryan Joy - you mean he showed it like it was cool? That is weird. I could see plenty of CBC interest in judging/making fun of it.

Allie - agreed.
