So the guy who brought porn back to the Church through, then started the anti-consumerism, non-profit 'Junky Car Club' - continues to challenge the followers of Jesus to be more authentic.

“'Love Takes Balls' is about discovering the limits of our own love and then learning to throw away those limits.

It’s about redefining love using God’s example - boundless, with no quid-pro-quos. Expecting–and sometimes getting–nothing back in return. It takes courage, strength, and total commitment to love like this."

Love definitely takes balls - at least the kind of love the Jesus spoke of and lived out.

I had never even heard of until last week sometime, but I think it's a great idea. (I haven't actually checked it out, so I can't endorse it too much.) I think that sometimes we have to think outside of the box to change things. If it takes a little shock value or something that doesn't look like anything we've seen before, then okay. Jesus wasn't like anything that they had seen before either. He certainly didn't fit into any boxes, so why should His message?

Don't you think it takes more than balls - it takes death?

Only Jesus loves like that - our love, no matter how hard we try, will always fall short.

Crucified with Christ - the mystery of the gospel.

I like Jenn3"s comments, by the way.
There is something "....." (can't think of any word to describe it!) about hearing truth in a raw, unexpected way.
It shocks you like a cold shower shocks you: wakes you up and braces you.

Great post
